Day Camp
Mount Shepherd's Day Camp serves children from across many communities in Central North Carolina. Weekly activities include canoeing, climbing, swimming, arts and crafts, and much more! Day Camp allows children to experience a wide variety of activities and adventures. These are used as tools to enhance a camper's self-esteem, confidence and ability to interact with others. Children will be placed in appropriate age groups where they will play and work together in a positive atmosphere. Well-trained staff members will stay with them. Our goal is to ensure a safe, positive environment where your child will continue to learn and grow physically, mentally, and spiritually all summer long.
Please note: Lunch is provided daily.

Middle School Day Camp: Rising 5th-8th Graders

Drop-Off/Pick-Up Information
The day camp program runs from 8:30 AM-4:30 PM each day
- Campers may be dropped off between 8-8:30 AM
- Campers may be picked up 4:30-5:15 PM Monday-Thursday
- Friday pick up will be from 4-4:30 PM
- Earlier drop-off and Pick-up may only be arranged in advance with additional fees.
Financial Assistance
As a part of our mission, Mount Shepherd is committed to making camp possible for ALL children, regardless of financial resources. We encourage camp families to reach out to their local church to request financial support. Scholarships are also available.
