Mount Shepherd Retreat Center is located in central North Carolina, west of Asheboro, southeast of High Point and Winston-Salem, and northeast of Charlotte.

From High Point

Drive south on South Main Street: Bear right onto Archdale Road just beyond Fairfield Plaza; Continue through Archdale and drive for seven miles to Hillsville; Turn right onto Hoover Hill Road; Travel 8 miles. Turn left at "Retreat Center" sign. Follow signs.

From Asheboro and points East

Drive west on US 64 for 6½ miles; cross Caraway Creek; Turn right at "Mount Shepherd Retreat Center" sign. Turn right at the Mount Shepherd United Methodist Church; Continue for 1.3 miles.

From Lexington and points West

Drive east on US 64 for 14 miles; Cross Uwharrie River; Turn left off of US 64 one mile beyond Tabernacle School; Follow "Retreat Center" signs; turn right at the Mount Shepherd United Methodist Church. Continue for 1.3 miles.

From Greensboro and points North

Drive south on US 220 to Asheboro to west US 64 for 6½ miles; cross Caraway Creek; Turn right at "Mount Shepherd Retreat Center" sign. Turn right at the Mount Shepherd United Methodist Church; Continue for 1.3 miles.

From Charlotte and points South

Drive north on I-85 to Lexington; exit 96; turn right off ramp. Drive east on US 64 for 14 miles; Cross Uwharrie River; Turn left off of US 64 one mile beyond Tabernacle School; Follow "Retreat Center" signs; turn right at the Mount Shepherd United Methodist Church. Continue for 1.3 miles.
